We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our team. As an Expediter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the execution of production assignments. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and distributing supplies and shipments, coordinating with various departments to track work progress, compiling reports on costs and inventory levels, and serving as a point of contact between the production and planning teams. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to lift objects weighing 50-75 pounds.
- Monday to Saturday (Most shifts are 8 hours)
- 6:30 am - 5:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the execution of production assignments to ensure efficient workflow.
- Review and distribute supplies and shipments in a timely manner to support ongoing projects.
- Confer with other departments to determine the progress of work and establish realistic completion dates.
- Compile comprehensive reports on costs and inventory levels for accurate tracking and resource management.
- Review and communicate production status reports to relevant stakeholders, providing timely updates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the production and planning teams, facilitating effective coordination.
- Demonstrate physical capability to lift and handle weights ranging from 50-75 lbs, as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, planning, or related fields within the landscaping industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise coordination.
- Ability to work well in teams and collaborate with various departments.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- 21+ years old.
- Intuitive with the ability to read routes and stay on schedule.
- Reliable and punctual with availability from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm (most shifts are 8 hours).
- Monday to Saturday availability.
